Savoring Strawberries
Upon receiving the new issue of Southern Living Magazine in the mail, I've been re-obsessing over strawberries ever since. This popular superfruit has many advantages other than as a food. Did you know that actress Catherine Zeta Jones brushes her teeth with mashed strawberries in order to maintain a whiter smile?
There is also a great homemade strawberry sugar body scrub that is great for exfoliation, and beautiful glowing skin.
The front cover of the April 2012 issue of Southern Living features this delectible Strawberry Meringue Cake which I can't wait to try!

These strawberry-margarita spritzers are another must try from Southern Living:

Now I need to head to the farmer's market and stock up on a lot of strawberries!

Aqua Ikat Love
I'm not going to lie. When I received the new Ballard Designs catalog for March in the mail, I was excited. This is primarily because it is filled with page after page of furniture and accessories in the same aqua ikat I recently had made for my living room sofa pillows. The fabric is Laura Ashley tilbury lapis and is a beautiful print featuring hues of aqua, kelly green, tan, and cream. Who knew Laura Ashley would create something so chic? The fabric has been used by many noteworthy designers, and here is just a little inspiration for you to enjoy:
